Back again with more results! These ones are probably the most exciting of them all. Below is a little chart of the most popular plays transcribed from the collections so far. Are they the results you expected? Speaking for myself, there are a couple in the top ten that are no surprise: Shakespeares, Black-Eyed Susan, Aladdin etc., but the top 5 are the most interesting! Especially as plays such as Kenilworth: Or, England's Golden Days are unheard of today and have little documentation even from the contemporary time period. One of the most interesting aspects of this project for me is trying to find out why some plays have lasted in terms of performance popularity more than others, and looking at this titles data which you've helped to collect is a big part of that.
(also, a quick note: 'The Coronation' is most likely an example of 'not a title' -- something else being performed for the coronation, so we can probably discount this in terms of popular plays!)
