Over the past few days we've been working on implementing a single sign-on process between this forum and our main application and I'm pleased to say that we're ready to switch it on

This means that you will no longer need to create a separate account for the LibCrowds forum, everything will be handled via your main LibCrowds account. When a user signs in from any LibCrowds webpage they will automatically be signed in to the forum, with a new account created first, if necessary.

Hopefully, removing this additional barrier to entry will encourage more people to come and participate. It also just provides a far smoother experience!

For those of you that had already created a separate forum account, your email addresses will be matched against your main LibCrowds account. It is that main account that you can use to sign on. As before, just click the Sign In button that appears on this page.

Note that I found 8 email addresses that don't match LibCrowds accounts. This means that there are a few people that only signed up for the forum, or signed up using a different email address than they did for the main application.

If you're one of these people, what will probably happen here is that when you next sign in to the main application you will have a new forum account automatically created for you, using the email address linked to your main account. If you want to then merge your accounts just get in touch, letting me know which email address you want to keep and which to discard.
